Argentina are Champions of the World. The greatest player of all-time just fulfilled his destiny in the greatest game of all-time. Anyone who says magic isn’t real needs to watch this match all over again. It’s been 36 years since they last won it, but they were done waiting.
Babar should be shameful enough to resign from captaincy after what just happened. This whole squad needs to be revamped.

Babar Azam on selecting Azam Khan & Shadab Khan:
"When we don't select a player, you ask us why did we not select him. And then when we select him, you ask us why was he selected" 🇵🇰😭😭😭

Over the last few years, I have met two different types of IMG junior doctors & medical students.
First type:
They will seek some guidance about coming to the UK. They will ask specific questions, clarify confusion & get some motivation. There will be silence afterwards.
12-18 months later, they meet you at a conference or social event in the UK telling you they started their job in the UK & life is good.
A few years later, they will share their graduation pictures of the Royal College exam ceremony on social media.
Second type:
They will ask questions & keep on asking them.
Should I come to the UK or not?
What are the advantages & disadvantages?
Which speciality?
Which area?
Which exam?
Why not USMLE or AMC?
Am I too old to start a career in the UK?
Will I miss the food?
I don't like cold, will I survive?
After months & even years of questions on repeat, when I ask them which stage are you at?
The answer would be,
"Thinking about booking the OET"
The point is
There is only so much a person can do to help you clarify the career path.
In reality, there is no ideal path, just hit & miss, trial & error learning & bumpy rides.
Everyone has a point of view, but there is no word of God in career guidance.
No one knows if you will like the UK or not. Only time will tell.
People who take risks & jump in have better chances of success.
You shouldn't be afraid to invest time & effort in career development. Even a failed attempt at an exam would teach you a lot.
Best wishes.
This image of this Christian boy wearing special dress for Independence day, consoling her crying mother, should be enough to shake the dead conscience of this nation.
