After torturing Karina, Daniella, Naama, and Liri for 477 days, they are going to parade them in the middle of Gaza through a pack of armed terrorists.
And so I ask again - where are the women's groups? Why aren't they speaking out against this vile abuse?
Liberal Prime Minister Candidate @MarkJCarney met with Hamas loyalists in Ottawa to appease his voter base.
We can’t recall Kamala Harris meeting with such individuals during her run, and is sure to be interesting if nominated when dealing with @realDonaldTrump
To all the countless feminist organizations who have stayed silent: You did absolutely nothing to free these women.
You should be embarrassed and ashamed.
“(Somewhere) Over the Rainbow” was co-written by two New York Jews, born to Russian and Lithuanian, Yiddish-speaking parents. The lyrics were penned by Yip Harburg (Isidore Hochberg) and Harold “Hyman” Arlen wrote the music.
What few people realised while listening to the iconic song, is that the music is deeply rooted in the Jewish experience.
This is perhaps the most moving song to come out of the mass exodus from Europe.
Despite the song being written for its use in “the Wizard of Oz”, it draws on the themes of the Zionist movement expressing a yearning for Zion.
In composing it, both men reached deep into their consciousness as immigrant Jews framed by the pogroms of the past and wrote an unforgettable melody with almost prophetic words.
Read the lyrics in their Jewish context and suddenly the words are no longer about wizards and Oz, but about the survival of the Jews:

The Jews of Europe could not fly…
They couldn’t escape beyond the rainbow.
Harburg was almost prophetic when he talked about wanting to fly far “beyond the chimney tops”
In the post-Auschwitz era, the chimney tops took on a totally different meaning than they did at the beginning of 1939.
“Somewhere over the Rainbow,” was voted the number one song of the 20th century by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the National Foundation for Music. Arts (NEA).
Shame on You, @mcgillu !
You have betrayed your Jewish students and the broader community by allowing Iyad Abu Hamed—a vocal supporter of terrorism and a purveyor of vile antisemitic hate—to speak on your campus at an event titled “A Night of Resistance” with the theme “Al-Aqsa is Our Creed.”
Iyad Abu Hamed has glorified Hamas’s October 7 massacre, where over 1,400 innocent civilians were slaughtered, hundreds kidnapped, and countless others injured. On the very day of the attack, he shared an image of Hamas terrorists using gliders to invade Israel with the caption: “When it rains, men are true to what they promised God #Al-Aqsa Flood.” This was an endorsement of mass murder.
Abu Hamed refuses to condemn Hamas, a listed terrorist organization responsible for countless atrocities. Rather he chooses to spout rhetoric that incites hate and encourages violent resistance.
B’nai Brith Canada wrote to McGill in advance of the event to warn you of the dangers of hosting such a caustic individual. Shame on you for ignoring us and providing a stage for hate. Shame on you for abandoning your moral responsibilities as an educational institution. You chose complicity over courage and turned your back on your Jewish students and their allies. You should be ashamed.

The demonstration that took place this evening outside the Shaar Hashomayim synagogue in Montreal, along with calls for an intifada in front of this community place of worship, is a disgrace.
It once again shows that these so-called “peaceful” protestors are driven solely by hatred of Jews.
Circulating letters and petitions directed by Canadian physicians against Israel are hateful, divisive and are leading to a deterioration in the health care climate in Canada. This is an international issue of little relevance to the CMA and OMA and health care in Canada. For many years now so called “activists” and “humanitarians” have been utilizing their positions as medical students and physicians with a sense of entitlement to express targeted vitriol at Israel, Zionists and by extension most Jewish health care students, staff and employees.
If you peruse their social media accounts and public statements you will find that they are solely interested in critiquing Israel with barely a mention of any other humanitarian crisis anywhere in the world. They never condemn the use of medical facilities for weapons storage or for their use as hiding places for fighters. If they cared about peace for all people and the safety of health care workers minimally you would expect one sentence devoted to condemning the use of hospitals for war-making purposes. The fact that this is never mentioned by any of them tells you all you need to know about their motivations. These statements are directly contributing to the alienation of their Jewish and Zionist colleagues, increasing friction in health care spaces in Canada and quite possibly the decline in the quality of actual Canadian health care as a result.
I call on the CMA and the OMA and every other Canadian health care institution to stay out of international politics and focus on the pressing health care needs of Canadians. I call on all Canadian health care workers to focus on the same thing. We all have a viewpoint on international conflicts. We should think about how what we post affects our colleagues and patients. I had no intention of using a social media platform for this. However since 2021 the amount of hate directed by physicians in Canada and internationally against Israel and Jews has grown too large to ignore.
There is little point in refuting every aspect of this “petition” except for a few brief points I will make. Russia unilaterally invaded a sovereign country and Ukraine is fighting back. The parallel is that Hamas invaded a sovereign country and Israel is fighting back. Russia thinks they are entitled to Ukrainian territory. Hamas thinks they are entitled to all of Israel. So if any group deserves condemnation it is Hamas. Additionally, the only sources quoted for this are UN sources. The UN has issues resolutions against Israel 297 times since 2006…next on the list? Syria at 54. North Korea is at 24. Iran is at 23. That alone tells any rational person the credibility of the UN on Israel.
Let’s keep our focus on Canada and Canadian health care and collegiality with all our colleagues to meet our goals here!
Shamefully, @mbndp is now blocking the movement of #Keira’sLaw through their legislature despite best efforts of advocates, survivors & MLAs
@nahannifontaine @WabKinew this is unacceptable! Please bring #Keiraslaw to 3rd reading. Kids’ lives depend on it!

Joint statement by Yair Szlak, President & CEO of @FederationCJA & Eta Yudin, @ecijaq, CIJA Vice-President Quebec:
We are calling on McGill University to defund SPHR immediately. We are calling on McGill to stop turning a blind eye to the hate & toxicity fuelling the illegal encampment & take action. This cannot be in our city. This cannot be at McGill. The tolerance for hate & antisemitism in our city is enough. Mayor Plante & the SPVM must act now.
Authorities must act to dismantle the toxic encampment immediately, or the antisemitism, hate, intimidation & harassment will continue to metastasize.
A revolting display at @mcgillu.
The university should be ashamed for allowing protesters to take over its grounds and promote violence and hate. When will the administration wake up and realize that enough is enough? @McGillPresident
#BREAKING: @N12News reveals screenshots of the @BU_Tweets SJP group chat in the aftermath of October 7, with students cheering on Hamas terrorists and calling for the complete "collapse" of Israel.
According to the report, students in the chat also expressed hope that Lebanon, Egypt, and Sudan would join the war against Israel, and shared false propaganda accusing Israel of killing its own citizens on October 7.
As early as 2021, the group chat reportedly was spreading messages glorifying the intifada.
The N12 report describes SJP as a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the parent movement of Hamas, and quotes @kobbybarda, who called out the connection between the main convicts in the Holy Land Foundation case and the leadership of SJP.

Meet Khymani James, a student leader of Columbia University’s anti-Israel Gaza Solidarity Encampment who openly states that "Zionists don’t deserve to live"
He made the comments during a meeting with the school that he live-streamed.
We put together the highlights:
As the world celebrates #WorldChildrensDay , 40 children are being held hostage by terrorists in Gaza.
Children who had to watch their families murdered before their eyes.
Children who had their innocence ripped away from them.
Children who are still held hostage by savage butchers.
We will continue to operate until they all return home.
To civilians in northern Gaza:
🔴 Residents of Gaza City, especially the neighborhoods of the Old City of Jabalia and Shuja’iya, we urge you to evacuate your residential areas immediately in order to preserve your safety, via the Salah al-Din Road until 16:00, to reach the south of Wadi Gaza and the humanitarian zone.
🔴 There will be a local tactical pause for humanitarian purposes today between 10:00-14:00, in the area of the Jourat al-Lot and Batn al-Sameen neighborhoods in Khan Yunis.
Hamas has lost its control over northern Gaza, and is trying to prevent Gazans from moving southward for their safety. Residents whose way is blocked, can contact the IDF through this number: +972 50-341-0322 or the designated Telegram channel: @gaza_saver.
