@dharvaaa@DrDatta_AIIMS In karnataka’s Tumakuru , a newly wed lowered caste couple were denied entry into arasamma temple
In Tamilnadu , entire half of village were not allowed to entre temple of panchali amman because of them being lowered caste
@DeshbhktNishant@gemsofbhajpa 12/15 prime minister were from upper caste
8/15 president were from upper caste
44/53 cji were from upper caste
And the -40 score was through payed NRI quota …
Don’t play victim role ….The uppered caste cannot tolerate a marginalised getting into higher post .
@aarna_jaiswal_ It never made sense to you because your ancestors were not denied of it .
It makes sense for the people who were denied education and equal social status.
How can a person be not given same experience as others yet expected to perform same as them ?
@Yours_Viru It is correct but it is also possible that people will hide income to get reservation.
Except people employed in govt job , others can easily manipulate their financial status .
@2Gaudadhipati Yes reservation itself holds caste in it …but if it gets removed , then caste mind set will increase.
Merit based opportunity should be expected when every individual gets same education.
Is it rational to expect merit when people didn’t get same opportunity?
@DeshbhktNishant@gemsofbhajpa Let’s have a scenario.
A tribe wants to be at a govt college . But he never got same circumstances to study as an uppered class .
Was it his mistake that he didn’t get the same situation as an uppered caste ?
Will it appropriate to expect merit from him ?
@AgentPaneer@gemsofbhajpa If a personal choice that cannot be removed and if it affects the lowered caste , then reservation should exist .
Just bcoz someone is restraining with their own ideas and doing supremacist act …. They cannot ask for removal of reservation.
