Debriefs are important and a well-known process in bringing teams together, sharing experiences and expertise, and supporting each other after a potentially traumatic event. However, the evidence base is mixed and controversial. Language plays a big part in this...
There is no doubt we all care about the work we do and also those we work with. Bringing teams together, offering some space to come together, share, normalise and validate is something we are very passionate about.
We are understanding more and more the psychological impact of life as a health care professional. Being exposed to a broad range of professional, ethical and clinical practice issues, can result in feelings of stress leading to burnout.

Waiting to deliver the final session of our Psychological Skills in the Workplace workshop. Supporting a senior leadership team to learn skills and techniques that have been shown to improve psychological health and life effectiveness.
This is me, doing what I ❤, dropping in, saying hi, a chance for me to meet staff and offer them time and space to ask me any questions about our service. Building trust and embedding ourselves into the system is significant to the work we do, so staff/teams feel safe to use us.
