It’s not often I am really taken with a speaker, but Pamela Enderby’s lecture "Language rehabilitation – Where are we?" at #WCNR2022 was incredibly inspirational. Perfect mix of intellect, humility, and humor. I want to be her when I grow up.

Many students tell me that they are not confident about starting a #PhD because they aren't good at writing, research, data analysis, etc.
I tell them that's what a PhD is for.
