High-quality education should be a human right. But at @alzdemjournals, @DrTFarombi & I argue that it shapes brain resilience, making it a unique case for policies that reduce health inequities and build human capital. Thanks, Tim Daly for starting this: https://t.co/OjRUxjxSvf
I’m so grateful to present some of the work from my master’s at @CRASoton in my homestate at #INS2025inNOLA ⚜️ It’s such an important time to be convening about health equity
Is perseverance dangerous for brain health?
In this recent #BSEA publication, authors explore how coping and grit impact subjective memory changes for Black men.

Linking distant fields can spark novel insights & transdisciplinary breakthroughs. Read our piece on societal inequality, neuroscience, and brain health with @AgustinaLegaz, Keenan Walker from @NIH & Sebastien Thuault, Editor-in-Chief of @NatureAging 👉https://t.co/kxICQNHqT7
If you're a scientist that serves on an NSF panel that got cancelled today, I'd love to talk to you about it for an NPR story. DM, email or reach out on signal.

We found that the CDR-SB was 0.20 higher 😮 when informants were female. This is very impactful on clinical trials. More thoughts in the nxt days, for now happy to share and congrats to the co-authors especially @MC_Tartaglia who led this!
WOW - @OHBM just put about 800 videos online including tutorials and symposia [1,2] from many years of past brain mapping meetings! https://t.co/8sY1np3bgd
[1] Some were there before but it looks like entire conferences were just added
[2] I am not involved with this, just appreciative - thanks to @StephForkel@sofievalk Kevin Sitek, Alfie Wearn
I'm Jade + I'm seeking PhD opportunities - thank you for sharing!
I'm interested in social determinants of health in #dementia, #neuroimaging, cognitive aging, and using interdisciplinary methods to improve concepts of cognition, health disparities, + design policy.
🧵
If any of these topics resonate for you, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I'd be happy to provide more information about my formal qualifications. 🧠
Some of the questions that keep me up at night are (but not limited to!): How can we use neuroimaging to learn more about how social and cultural factors influence cognition? How do these factors influence diagnosis in dementia?
I have methodological training in structural (MRI/DTI) and functional neuroimaging (rs/fMRI, fNIRS, EEG/ERPs), qualitative methods, and hands-on project management experience.
