@Darth_124 @6weetbix Yea you need both probably. The gimmick for newcomers is exactly the blueprint to convert them to playing online . It’s one of the most important things imo. It attracts a lot of people , online vs needs to make them stay

@peterjtromp @6weetbix I think you’re cooking here. There needs to be more creativity, shooting games have battle royale, zombie mode etc. Maybe fighting games have been playing safe creatively for too long.

@Shredder8267 @6weetbix League of legends is more complex than any fighting game I promise you. I think the nuance would be that the combat could be more complex specifically for fighting games. I’m thinking people could be overwhelmed by that. Smash bros has the simplest combat, also the most popular

@AutoMattock People don’t like losing in fighting games specifically.
In games like tft you can still have fun making comps while getting 8th
In fighting games you losing equates to you just watching yourself get comboed or not understanding neutral well

I’d check up on his progress and would’ve fired him 9 years ago.
