Just a note, there were more Americans killed in Chicago this weekend then there was in Iran.
Democrats won’t say much about the deaths in Chicago because it’s not actually about caring for people.
It’s about what they see as politically useful.

Anna Zarutska, mother of Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee who was stabbed three times and killed on August 22, 2025, while commuting on a Charlotte light rail train in North Carolina.
Iryna had come to the U.S. seeking safety and a new life, only for her life to be cut short. Her killer had been in and out of prison since 2011, with charges ranging from making threats to felony larceny, and was released from jail by former Governor Roy Cooper.
In North Carolina, the killing prompted the passage of House Bill 307, “Iryna’s Law,” which set out various criminal law reforms.
‼️MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA. WOMAN LOSES CONSCIOUSNESS DURING VIOLENT, UNPROVOKED BEACH ATTACK — ATTACKER IN CUSTODY‼️
A 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela is behind bars following a late-night attack and attempted m*rder of a woman walking along a Martin County beach.
The incident happened around 11:00 PM Thursday night into early Friday morning, while the victim was walking along Tiger Shore Beach and talking on the phone with a relative. According to the victim, the attacker came up from behind, struck her, pushed her into the water, and attempted to drown her. During the violent struggle, she said she eventually lost consciousness.
Believing the victim was dead, the suspect grabbed her cell phone and threw it into the ocean before walking away. When the victim regained consciousness, she walked more than a mile to Stuart Beach, where she located a sheriff’s deputy.
For two days, deputies canvassed the area, reviewed camera footage, searched for witnesses, and monitored the beach for a potential suspect. Last night, Port St. Lucie Police, responding to a call involving a suicidal male, contacted the Martin County Sheriff’s Office after the individual claimed he had murdered a woman on a Martin County beach.
MCSO detectives spoke with the man and determined he was the attacker. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Said Alexander Hernandez Gonzalez, told officers he was at the beach and saw the woman alone. He made statements indicating she made him angry, so he attacked her and drowned her. He stopped when he believed she was dead. He then went to his vehicle, smoked marijuana, drank vodka, and left the scene. When asked if he was remorseful, Hernandez Gonzalez stated he felt nothing.
Said Alexander Hernandez Gonzalez, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, has been charged with attempted m*rder and is being held at the Martin County Jail. Immigration authorities have placed an ICE detainer on him.
