I want to live in a world where MLB can look at this Guardians-Tigers series and say, “All three of those games should be on national TV,” and make it so.

I understand why this isn’t the case. And Mets-Cubs (airing now on TBS) is also full of intrigue.

But something is lost when a series like this — one that could decide the AL Central and potentially knock the loser out of the playoffs entirely — isn’t front and center and part of the national zeitgeist.
