In regard to the satirical nature of it, I tend to view the work as a “authentically inauthentic” condemnation of the patriarchy. I.E solanas expressing her hatred and adding on shock value for artistic reasons or just to catch peoples eyes

@doggoochh @bernardtjoy I hate the “all movies suck now” crowd as much as the next guy but there is much less literary quality screenplays as there used to be. Still 1-3 ish come out each year but compared to the 60, 70, 80s and even 90s its far less.
