@MaxRovensky@levelsio Sure it does, as long as you’re willing to fix it before you leave, or lose your deposit. Very likely still cheaper than owning, depending on location
Every time somebody posts something like this I become a little more convinced that the hype around LLMs is pure unadulterated bullshit.
Sounds exactly like the ngmi posts during the crypto era.
PSA: if you don't use LLMs for coding because you've finally acquired enough evidence to convince yourself they "can't reason", you're both 100% right, and about to be left behind just like these who refused to use Google, or git when they came out.
@Scott_Wiener And, to be clear, I'm actually asking here.
If the fees are working around a technicality for what is or isn't counted as revenue, can't we work on fixing that?
On the surface, I'm disappointed by @Scott_Wiener's support of SB 1524.
Surcharges feel sleazy and deceptive. Why can't restaurants just raise their prices to reflect the cost of paying their staff well? If a dish costs $20, plus 5%, why can't they just put $21 on the menu?
@transitbear Governor Hochul spiking NYC's planned congestion charge feels relevant here, too.
Most people in NYC want it, but the MTA is run by the state, and is accountable to a largely suburban constituency, so it looks like they're going to be overruled.
