@takeyrcentury Silent hill 2 is clearly inspired by Jacob’s ladder. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was inflicted by Lost Highway but not nearly to the degree that they took from Jacob’s Ladder and it’s definitely not similar enough to say “stole the the entire story”

@airbagg3d kinda feel this. I started with 6 (or 3) for snes and played 6,7,8,9, and x in release order and x was the first one I didn’t finish. I didn’t see why people were so crazy about it past the ps2 look. Now I have 13 year olds on the internet calling me a larper for not enjoying it.

There was a period where you couldn’t leave your house with seeing an ff7 ad plastered somewhere
