When I heard about Senator Graham’s death last night, the first thing I thought about was not all the things he said and did in service of Donald Trump. I thought of the time before Donald Trump when he was a brother to Senator John McCain.
A time when senators from different parties could fight about politics and still be friends. A time when a conservative Republican from South Carolina could say of my father: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, you’ve got a problem. He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in politics. As good a man as God ever created.”
That is the Senator Graham I will remember today. Not because I have forgotten what came after. Because in that memory there is hope. Hope for a country where brothers can fight like hell over policy and still share a meal, and a laugh, and the loss of the people they love.
I will choose to remember the time before Trump. Because I believe in an America after Trump.
@DezBryant Up here in CT for a show and you & Cowboys getting love. MFs been hating too but we love it 😭. Someone just shouted “throw up that X baby” 🙅🏼♂️
Former Trump White House lawyer Ty Cobb on Trump’s profiting off the presidency:
“We are seeing the greatest onslaught of corruption in the history of mankind.”
i think people from the US officially lost their right to being smug and mock chinas authoritarian surveillance state the past decade or so
you have AI flock cameras, palantir, massive surveillance state, being slave to billionaires, cant even touch a pool of water
This is the most corrupt words to come out of a Speaker's mouth imaginable. The job of Congress isn't to protect the President and his family. It's to provide checks and balances on the Executive Branch. You're damn right we will investigate crimes and corruption. Who moved $180 million in oil futures 15 minutes before Iran announcements? Who has gotten sole source contracts because of their connections to the Trump family? Where did our social security data go when DOGE downloaded it into portable hard drives? Where are the rest of the Epstein files? On and on this Congress has chosen covering up crimes instead of stopping them. That ends in November. @WellmanForMO
They wore red hats for him.
They wore ear bandages for him.
They wore diapers for him.
They wore garbage bags for him.
Now they cheer wars, shrug at high gas prices, call inflation “freedom” and are totally cool with pedophilia.
MAGA are the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.
So let me get this straight…
We’re now being told JD Vance used the Situation Room to lead “war room” meetings about the Epstein fallout.
Allegations of Trump sexually abusing minors?
I thought the Situation Room was for actual wars.
Trump keeps telling everyone to move on while the Epstein story keeps getting bigger and closer to home.
Then BOOM.
We’re in a war with Iran.
A war nobody voted for, nobody wanted, and few can clearly explain.
Straits of Hormuz closed.
Gas prices skyrocket.
The entire news cycle changed overnight.
Funny how quickly Epstein disappeared from the headlines.
You can outrun a news cycle.
The print and legacy news media is a joke.
You can’t outrun Epstein forever.
WE are watching.
WE are not stupid.
WE are united in the Tired of the Bullshit party.
Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses President Trump of being a traitor.
"I'm saying exactly that..."
I mean, it's pretty remarkable to hear you say that you think the president is a traitor.
MTG: "What is remarkable to me is that this administration, people that we voted for, demanding transparency, the man that campaigned all over the country, claiming that he would be the one to drain the swamp, is the very man that fought to keep the Epstein files from being released. And then he, in turn, called me the traitor because I fought to release the Epstein files."
