The key to the vote on @elonmusk ‘s 2018 comp plan is retail participation. If retail is 45% of all shares that can vote, and 90% of those voting vote FOR Proposal 4, the difference between a 60% retail turnout and 80% retail turnout is HUGE (45% x 90% x 20% delta = +8.1pp). $TSLA likely won’t know the outcome of the institutional vote until at best tomorrow.

Bottom line: We believe that as long as retail investors turn out to vote, Elon’s 2018 comp package should pass.

NEWS: The Travelers Rest, South Carolina police department purchased two @Tesla Model Ys recently.

“In the past year, we have spent zero on maintenance. There’s no oil in them; We anticipate in 4-5 years, that extra that we paid upfront will equal out what we paid in fuel, oil changes, etc; The cost of Ford Explorers, the police vehicles, have went up drastically. The difference in a @Tesla Model Y and a Ford Explorer is only a few thousand dollars now.”
