@GeoffKlein3@CatholicPrimer Ultimately of course God must judge. But there is no special problem here that isn't simply a problem of all communication as such. People sometimes disagree; we should try to reach consensus, and those in positions of authority must make determinations.
@CatholicPrimer It's not a problem with SS, because SS is not a claim about or prescription for administrative/operational unity, it's a claim about the ontological status of the written word of God.
@CatholicPrimer There was plenty of debate in the early republic about nullification, where state courts would simply reject Supreme Court interpretations. That debate was resolved through force. Court authority/interpretation was in question, not the Constitutional text.
If I were emperor, eggs on ketchup would get you exiled from the country, and this would be a fitting punishment since ketchup itself would also be banned (i.e. not legally available here).
"And he was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.” But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.” (Luke 8:21)
Why did Jesus relativize Mary in this way?
