@brianlilley I have no idea how you could characterize that speech as awful. He described exactly what is happening in the world and how Canada will respond. I didn’t even vote for him but it’s refreshing to have that kind of representation on the world stage.
@PierrePoilievre Nevermind the taxes. Overhaul the building code that was originally published in 1941. Thaf is the document that governs building in this country and there is so much contradictory information it’s outrageous. Span tables for lumber that doesn’t even exist. I could go on….
@KatKanada_TM Turtle island belongs to First Nations people. I don’t understand this narrative from Indigenous leadership. I thought reconciliation was about sharing the lands. We are just going to skip right over that and say it belongs exclusively to FN. Alrighty then
@MarkJCarney If you keep making commitments for minerals we are going to have to expedite getting the minerals out of the ground. Still waiting for that plan…
@MarkJCarney I do not agree with elected officials switching parties and policy. I heard a news clip yesterday that the Conservatives were not supporting the budget within 2 hours. At a time when we need to take advantage of momentum. Terrible politics. (I voted C)
@fordnation We’ve been talking about the ring of fire for 25 years. It’s time to stop talking and get to work. Can you imagine how long it would have taken to build the Canadian Pacific railway today! So many technological advancements but they mean nothing if we can’t get it approved!!!
@MarkJCarney Yes, it’s time to throw everything we got at this. Physically, financially and regulatory. Now is not the time for Partisan BS or woke policy. There are many priorities in the country but none of them matter if we are broke!!!
@MarcNixon24 What we really need to do is stop paying attention to the circus south of the border and stop with the partisan garbage and start working together to make things happen in this country. That should be the top priority and we should throw everything we got at it.
@Concern70732755 The interesting part of this is that younger people are more likely to believe that we are on stolen land because that’s what they’ve been taught in school. Brainwashing our young people to believe that the origin of our country is not legitimate is dangerous
@PremierScottMoe Unfortunately, it’s not the constituents of Saskatchewan that need to be convinced. From the Ont/MB border to AB/BC border it’s going to be a lot of Blue with red in the north and maybe some orange
@VioletDante This was a perfectly excecuted political move. Carney is credible, It’s just false to say otherwise. His agenda is no different than the last 5 years with this woke government. We need to spend money on real shit and deregulate so that we can actually get shit done!!
@MarkJCarney I understand your motive here but we can all agree that things aren’t as rosey as they once were. The man is only part of the package - it’s the policy we need to change. You are a credible guy but your timing is really bad.
@PremierScottMoe@JustinTrudeau@realDonaldTrump Any project that is determined to have national importance should be expedited. We need to find a way to get things built faster in this country
@brianlilley The fact that so many people entertain this shows the damage to our country that this government has done. I am proud to be Canadian and I will never support joining the US. Lesser nations, with less resources prosper with trade barriers.
@MarcNixon24 Less taxes would be nice but not worth our sovereignty. This is a wake-up call. We need to build export infrastructure and we need to spend big money in the north. They have no choice but to trade with us and us with them.
@acoyne The Liberals were banking on exactly this but it’s not up to the Liberals to tell Canadians what we believe. It comes down to policy and the numbers speak for themselves. What we need in this country is deregulation we need to figure out how to get big things done faster
