@LeeBraganza Lol! I mean proper spring. That first day when the kids play on the field rather than the playground and break duty is less of a ‘grey, freezing, cold in your bones’ type of experience and more of a ‘turning your face to the sun and feeling happy to be in fresh air’ experience.
@shitscaredmum You’re a bloody inspiration and I’m proud to share a birthday with you. Hope you had a lovely day. Each one is indeed a privilege and my intention is to make the most of each one. Also, end of icky Jan and start of Feb, which is almost March so… spring! Yay!
@Janroweljmu@Trivium21c I’ve read the book and thought it was one of the most beautifully written things I’ve ever read. Maggie O’Farrell is a real wordsmith. 😍 I cried my leg off though! Don’t know if I can face the film for this reason.
@llewelyn20 Am in summer grief mode. How was it that yesterday I walked down a street of people dining and drinking in warm sunshine? Hey ho. Lighting candle, drinking Prosecco and plugging in the heavy duty ( January grade!) sparkly lights is helping. Am also hopeful of an Indian summer…
I'm doing a couple of giveaways to celebrate the upcoming new school year! This first #giveaway is for my book on #behaviour. Like and retweet this post to enter (UK only). Winner picked next Saturday. Please share! Thank you. #freebie
@Janroweljmu@llewelyn20 God Jan, I know. 🙄I mean, a couple of tree tops and an arched window should be well enough for a self-confessed castle aficionado to identify one. Jeez! 😜
@llewelyn20 Yay! We LOVE a castle. Went to Penrhyn yesterday and it’s moved up the rankings as a strong contender for favourite. Bit austere at first glance but a bloody corker inside. 😍
