@F1Help Please undo this, it was constantly switching between the lowest to the highest quality every 5-10 seconds, causing constant buffering/stuttering. Plus where I live I don't have unlimited data, I can't watch like this. I need to be able to set usage limits via quality settings
What happened to video quality settings on F1 TV? Did you guys remove it in an update? I can't watch like this please fix it or tell me how to downgrade the app back to the previous version. This is a terrible update.
@F1Help
Pixel 11 Pro actually has the best telephoto hardware among the three mainstream brands.
Larger sensor, wider aperture, and, most importantly, a shorter MFD. This means telemacro should finally be possible with Pixel phones.
Ofc, nowhere near Chinese flagships but good to see them improving.
@Gadgetsdata My S23 Ultra's battery expanded, pushed the backplate of the phone off & broke the case the phone was in. Samsung did not care to investigate nor did they offer to pay for the replacement. This will likely keep happening based on just how uninterested they were when I reported it
AI competition is severely accelerating, space competition is in its early stages but seems China is determined to be a major player. Additionally, Space isn't making Spacex much money ATM. So can someone please explain what these extremely high price targets are based on???
$SPCX - MORGAN STANLEY: SPACEX LOCK-UP IS A BUYING OPPORTUNITY
Morgan Stanley reiterated Overweight on $SPCX with a $300 price target and $600 bull case.
Analyst Adam Jonas argues the market is undervaluing SpaceX’s broader AI platform, including its compute, connectivity and real-time data capabilities.
Upcoming Grok model releases could help close that valuation gap.
Jonas views the approaching lock-up expiry as an opportunity, not a risk, offering investors a potential entry point.
Windows 11's built-in Weather app should not be using over 1GB of RAM just to show me whether it will rain.
I opened Weather during heavy rain because my phone was charging. The forecast itself was good: radar, hourly precipitation, wind, AQI, moon phase, severe alerts, the works.
But Task Manager showed the app climbing past 1.2GB RAM without me doing anything serious.
Then I expanded the process tree, and the reason became obvious. Weather is not really a native Windows app.
It is MSN Weather running as a WebView2/Chromium wrapper with multiple browser-like processes under it.
And yes, it also shows ads.
A default Weather app on a paid operating system should not feel like an MSN page wearing a forecast icon.
Apple’s Weather app on macOS gives detailed weather data without ads and used about 247MB of RAM in my comparison.
Windows Weather used nearly five times that.
I hope Microsoft's leadership does something about the inbox apps.
BRING BACK NATIVE APPS
@gale_winchester@OMBReviews It's Spiderman, pretty much the most popular comic book character ever made & its coming off the back of No Way Home which a lot of people loved especially because of the previous Spidey actors being in it. Additionally, that movie (NWH) had a very compelling reason for a sequel.
@Pirat_Nation Terrible from Windows, also poor from MacOS. Absolutely no reason for a Weather App to be using 200+MB of RAM. I'm so tired of Windows and Microsoft.
@KalshiSports This was just for the Middle East and North Africa viewers. Basically, these numbers are people that watched the world Cup via BEIN Sports, the rest of the world's numbers hasn't been compiled yet.
