New satellite images reveal the scale of destruction across Gaza, from erased neighbourhoods in Rafah to damaged university buildings in Gaza City, showing how dramatically the landscape has changed.
Al Jazeera’s Lina Abu Akleh explains.
Trump has tried to destroy #UNRWA since 2018. He cannot do it: UNRWA is a subsidiary organ of the UN General Assembly (Res. 302(IV), 1949). The so-called Board of Peace cannot erase it. Only the GA can.
I wrote on this in 2018 👇Arguments are still valid. https://t.co/13loX9QQeq
You’ve got to understand their mentality to understand that committing war crimes is no big deal to the Israeli government.
They have always been able to control the narrative as part of the process. Now they can’t.

Israel wiped Gaza from the face of the earth.
Everyone knew exactly what they were doing!
A crime more confessed to as it happened than any other in history.
A crime more documented as it happened than any other in history.
There are no excuses. None at all,
Protesters were being ARRESTED for HOLDING UP SIGNS outside the Labour Party Conference yesterday!
But this is nothing new. In the UK, OVER 3,500 people have been arrested, with MORE THAN 2,250 formally charged under TERROR LAWS for PEACEFULLY PROTESTING the ban on Palestine Action.
Israel has sealed the occupied West Bank for a week, tightening restrictions on Palestinian movement.
Here is where the 300 Israeli checkpoints are and how they work: https://t.co/GELodtAh1G
@kennardmatt Total annihilation. Yes.
One question no one seems keen to ask: when will Gaza be opened?
How long will apartheid Israel, an unlawful occupier, be allowed to keep genocide survivors sealed off from the world?
And for how long can "destroying Hamas" remain the justification?
Google Earth has updated its images to show the devastating scale of destruction across Gaza with swathes of the strip reduced to rubble.

Look at the unprecedented level of destruction the world has allowed Apartheid-Israel to get away with in Gaza.
Know that the killing machine in that devastated ghetto is still running full throttle.
What a shame.
History never lies, don’t take it from me take it from renowned British Israeli historian Avi Shlaim, author, Emeritus Fellow of St Antonys College and an Emeritus Professor of International Relations at the University of Oxford.
The plight of the Palestinians is just a long list of deliberate Western actions to accommodate Zionist ambition.

Camden Labour led by their candidate to be Starmer’s replacement, have done everything possible to continue to financially support those engaged in genocide. The vast majority of Camden residents don’t want our council’s money invested in the machinery of slaughter. This Labour council is morally corrupt. In the Holborn & St.Pancras by-election let’s deliver the message that we reject not only Starmer but everything he stands for, including his complicity in genocide
“It is not Auschwitz, but it is genocide” (A Goldberg)
10,000 missing beneath the rubble.
Imagine the cries of babies, the calls of parents searching for them, fading into silence. No machinery to recover them.
A monstrosity we've been watching, rationalising, for 1,075 days
"The report looks at the current reality not as a collection of isolated incidents or specific harms, but as part of a comprehensive mechanism of elimination that works to dismantle the conditions for continued Palestinian existence...." in what remains of Palestine.
Palestinian life is being systematically eroded, according to a new report, settlers attack Palestinian farms, and Israel's genocide in Gaza continues.
Al Jazeera’s @Lina_Serene brings you the Jerusalem Daily.
Two things can be true: NAZA is a crucial documentary evidence against genocide deniers
We live in a frighteningly hypocritical world that applauds Israelis who call out apartheid & genocide while shaming & disbelieving Palestinians who say the exact same words
Like when German Culture Minister Claudia Roth said her applauds at 2024 Berlinale were solely directly at Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham & not his Palestinian co-director Basel Adra who was with him on stage
An Israeli saying genocide & apartheid is "brave" & "extraordinary". A Palestinian using the same words is "radical", "extremist", "propagandist", "antisemite", & "uncompromising"
Palestinian testimonies & evidence are treated as "biased", "exaggerated", "unreliable", until Israelis say otherwise!
We need a former Israeli prime minister to say there's ethnic cleansing in the West Bank for European governments to believe it
We need a former Israeli foreign minister to say that Camp David was a scam & that if he was a Palestinian he would've rejected it, in order to debunk the myth of the "most generous Israeli peace offer"
We need the Israeli newspaper Haaretz to say Israel is torturing Palestinians to death in detention camps for the world to believe what we've been documenting & saying for years
We always need an Israeli to add legitimacy & credibility to our meticulous & impeccable evidence
That shouldn't mean discounting Israeli dissenting voices who speak up; it doesn't mean devaluing the important work they do & the risks they take when they call out their own country's crimes. There's already been a giant wave of attacks from Israeli government & opposition leaders against the filmmakers of NAZA
Shame & anger should be directed at mainstream places who suppress & sideline Palestinian voices while elevating Israelis who say the exact same message
The game is rigged against us. But that doesn't mean attacking Israeli dissidents like Yuval. It should rather mean that we & Israeli anti-apartheid activists should jointly call out & condemn those who set the rules of the game at every possible opportunity until Palestinian voices are heard & believed
What do our people stand to gain from attacking Yuval & discrediting this movie? Activism is about what works, what makes a difference, not what feels good. NAZA is an important & crucial documentary that must be seen all around the world.
