I guess all I wanted to say with this is that nature is beautiful, we should protect it, and take a minute to enjoy it when we can- and not bring people down from their reverence to a particular aspect of the environment just because you’ve lived through it. Enjoy a nice moment!

I saw snow falling for the very first time in my entire life yesterday during work. My brain just melted when I looked out the window and I found myself crying with love for the natural world. It was absolutely gorgeous.

I realized that I take the tropics for granted because I’ve lived there all my life- pretty ocean and sea blue becomes commonplace, silky beach sand becomes the nuisance in your swimsuit, constant warmth becomes aggravating as soon as you start sweating. I had the same attitude.

I used to use amazon to buy snacks that I couldn’t find here, like pocky, mochi, certain health foods, tea... you name it. Now it’s virtually impossible because everything is unshippable. Comics were a big thing too. Special electronics, hamster toys, gifts for mom...

So the amazon thing has gotten worse and now I can only buy movies and books because nothing else ships. I’m not even talking about shipping fees I’m talking about not allowing me to buy anything anymore because I’m in PR. #amazon
