Deeply humbled to receive the AAPI Award for Transformational Social Work and Indo-US Partnership at the 44th Annual AAPI Convention and Scientific Assembly in Tampa, Florida, USA.

This honour recognises my long journey in social service, education, healthcare and humanitarian work, along with my efforts to strengthen the partnership between India and the United States. I dedicate this honour to the entire KIIT, KISS & KIMS family, who have always stood with me in this journey of education, healthcare and service to society.

I also delivered the keynote address before eminent physicians and healthcare leaders of Indian origin and shared my simple belief that education, healthcare and service to humanity must always go together.

My heartfelt thanks to AAPI President Dr. Amit Chakrabarty, Convention Chair Dr. Sagar Galwankar, Convener Dr. Raghu Juvvadi and the entire AAPI family for this honour and affection.

I feel very happy to see my KISS children come together in such a beautiful way to wish Miss India 2024, Ms Nikita Porwal, all the very best as she prepares to represent India at Miss World 2026.

Today, thousands of girl students and women staff of the KISS family came together to observe Nari Shakti Vandan Utsav with great hope and happiness.

I am very happy that this important message of respect, dignity and greater participation of women in nation building is reaching every corner of our country. I sincerely thank Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for giving such importance to women’s empowerment and for taking this message to the nation.

It was also a matter of happiness that Miss India 2024, Ms Nikita Porwal, joined us as the chief guest and shared her inspiring thoughts with our students.

At KISS, where a large number of our students are girls, we have always believed that when a daughter is empowered, the family, society and nation move forward together.

I was happy to meet and felicitate my lovable KISSians who have won medals at the 1st Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 held in Raipur.

A total of 29 of our children have won medals, including 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 12 Bronze. It is a matter of great happiness to see their hard work and effort bring such results. I feel especially happy for Anjali Munda, who has won 5 Gold medals in swimming. This is a proud moment for all of us.

In this competition, a total of 125 players from Odisha participated, out of which 48 were from KIIT and KISS. Most of these children come from very humble tribal families, and seeing them perform at this level gives me deep satisfaction. Today, we felicitated them and gave small incentives as a token of encouragement.

I always tell my children that this is just the beginning. With patience, discipline and continuous effort, they can achieve much greater success. My dream is to see these children represent our country in the Olympics.

My best wishes are with them for their future journey.

Today, the officials of Femina Miss India and the top 30 State winners are arriving at our KIIT and KISS campus for KIIT Presents 61st Femina Miss India 2026.

The Grand Finale will be held on 18th April, and it is a matter of pride for Odisha and for all of us that such a prestigious event is being hosted at our campus. These young participants will spend time at KIIT and KISS, tour our campuses, interact with our children, and experience our ecosystem closely. They will also visit Puri, the Konark Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach to experience the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.

Recently on 9th April, I had visited the Times Group office in Mumbai for the curtain raiser of KIIT Presents 61st Femina Miss India 2026. Today, as we begin welcoming everyone to our campus, I feel that this beautiful journey has truly started.

Today, on the birthday of Shri Anant Ambani Ji, I am very happy.

I felt real happiness when I saw the smiling faces of my 40,000 KISS children. Today, he has brought joy into their lives in a very simple and caring way. He is hosting a special dinner for all our children. I feel happy thinking that my children will sit together and enjoy this moment.

He has also announced scholarships for our children. Our topper students, from KG to PG, will get an opportunity to visit Vantara and learn many things there. Along with this, study materials have been given to all the children for this year, which will help them in their education.

It is also a matter of happiness that every year, 30 of our KISS children will get job opportunities in the Reliance Group. For children coming from very humble tribal families, this support means a lot. It gives them confidence and a new path in life.

I feel that such happiness has not come to my children in this way before. Today, we are not only happy, we are also very grateful.

I am very happy to see that our effort to promote sports and develop sportsmanship through KISS is moving in the right direction, as our students are performing well at the Khelo India Tribal Games.

Odisha has secured 23 medals so far, and it is a matter of great happiness that 15 of these medals have come from our KISS students. The competitions are still going on, and we hope to see more in the coming days.

I feel especially happy for Ms. Anjali Munda, our KISS student, who has won 5 medals and has emerged as a golden girl of the Games. Her performance is a proud moment for all of us.

Congratulations to our lovable KIITian Swayam Mishra, 6th Semester, School of Computer Engineering, for securing 1st Prize at the Build India Hackathon, organised by Anthropic, Replit and Lightspeed Venture Partners and held in Bangalore.

The hackathon focused on developing AI-native solutions for real-world challenges. Swayam’s performance earned him prizes worth $16,500 (nearly ₹15 lakh) along with an internship and a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO).
