@aspiringpeasant Pre-recentering, there was a pretty close relationship. Drop the last zero and that was your IQ give or take a couple. When they recentered, they took the top end out of the math section [800 on the math now is like the 95th %ile, used to be 99]. So it is less good in the tails.
