Year 5 are very lucky to have had Oliver assigned to them as their Year 6 Ambassador! He has already ran a name the teddy bear competition (which he kindly donated) and he has brought in a selection of delicious biscuits for the class to enjoy too! What a legend! #StarPupil

What a great start to a Friday! These 13 amazing year 6 pupils bravely stood up in front of the whole school and read out their head pupils speeches! They were all incredible in demonstrating their leadership capabilities and powers of persuasion. You should all be very proud! 🤩

A few weeks ago, he Knotty Ash Athletics team took part in a tournament at Wavertree! They did really well and the relay teams did particularly well! We love a team sport! There are even 5 district champions at our school now! #sportssportssportsports

Year 5 really enjoyed listening to @EmilyJaneClark yesterday in a @Scholastic zoom! She gave us some really great writing ideas! We especially loved the, “Wouldnt it be funny if…” idea as the possibilities are endless! #WorldBookDay
Today, Year 5 have loved painting, drawing and sketching their own Wilds, using the book The Wild as inspiration! Our whole school has embraced The Wild on #WorldBookDay by wearing green! It’s such a lovely book with a mega message: LOOK AFTER OUR PLANET! #DiddyArtists
Year 5 have also been exploring rail safety in class and were really moved by Harrison’s story. They took lots of really important information from this video. @RSFIUK
Year 5 have also been developing their understanding of forces this week by making paper helicopters. They explored the relationship between gravity, air resistance and the surface area of objects! It was super interesting and a lot of fun!
After exploring mental health for a few weeks, Mr Hall decided to share his famous pizza recipe as it is something which always relaxes him! We made our dough and sauce from scratch maybe next time we will make our cheese too! What do you think? @PrueLeith@HarryHill
