1/6 @lufthansa I am extremely disappointed.

10 days before my flight from Belgrade, Lufthansa cancelled my booking for 3 passengers (my wife, our 1-year-old son and me) and rebooked us. I accepted the change and everything looked fine in the app.

6/6 Lufthansa refuses to reimburse the €249 or acknowledge responsibility.

Operational issues happen. But when a customer’s flight disappears hours before departure, leaving them with a €249 bill to get help, Lufthansa should do the right thing.

5/6 The consequence?

A €249 roaming phone bill caused by a Lufthansa booking issue and the inability to reach support through normal channels.

4/6 I selected English support and then waited more than 90 minutes on the phone. (Screenshot attached)

When an agent finally answered, the issue was fixed in a matter of seconds.

3/6 I first tried Lufthansa’s live chat, only to discover I was #228 in the queue. (Screenshot attached)

There was no chance of getting help in time, so I had to call support instead.

2/6 On the day of travel, just 5 hours before departure, our flight suddenly disappeared from the Lufthansa app.

With only 2 days left before I had to return to work, I urgently needed confirmation that our tickets were still valid.
