I am 60 years old. I grew up watching 60 Minutes. I did not always agree with the story or how it was reported, but I appreciated the quality of the journalism.

The prior shot off of dirt from 103 was just as good.

@jamesatl @LouStagner It was 4-balls - a player from each team - on 5 holes at the same time (1, 15, 16, 17, 18). Aggregate among all 5 players on each team. I was the TV spotter on 17 for the playoff.

Yes, it was fun to be part of. And the chatter in my earpiece was also super interesting; both leading up to explain the format and to listen to the live action from the other 4 holes.

The players were clearly nervous.

@TimGavrich I have been inside the ropes all three years here at LaCosta. And I have played the course 5x. Some courses are better in person.

Also appreciate 1) the players are all on property together. And they all know each other from junior golf. 2) the practice area is top tier.

@MidwestGolfJake I am at LaCosta inside the ropes. The behaviors accepted in both men’s and women’s college golf spill over into the pro tours. And it is brutally slow sometimes.

I head back to the course for the quarterfinals in an hour.
