UPDATE: Malam Nasir @elrufai today honoured the invitation extended to him by the EFCC.
He had a frank and fruitful interaction with the EFCC officials, whom his counsel noted were entirely professional in their approach and conduct.
He remains with the EFCC.
@InibeheEffiong An ordinary lawyer see a police officer as his enemy for doing his work deligently. Lawyers always comes to police to protect the interest of their clients.
Comparison of the sunrise in the last ten nights of Ramadan.
One of the signs of Laylatul Qadr- “On the morning following Laylatul-Qadr, the sun rises without any rays as if it were a brass dish until it rises.”
Astronomer Muteb Al-Barghash:
The sun will set at the Tumair observatory site at 6:11 PM, and the crescent moon will set 8 minutes after that.
The skies are mostly clear with some scattered clouds.
NIGERIA UPDATE: Waziri Adio, my Kennedy School classmate, on the proposed (2025) budget and related matters - Every citizen must read this treatise. - @elrufai
“There are other curious items I have seen in the proposed budget. One glaring example is the plan to transfer N146.14 billion to MOFI (Ministry of Finance Incorporated) as counterpart funding for the Lagos Green Line Metro Rail Phase 1.
This raises many questions.
The proposed allocation for the metro-line within a state is 65% of the capital budget and 57% of the entire budget of the Ministry of Transport.
If this is counterpart funding from a recapitalised MOFI, why is the money coming from the budget of a federal ministry?
Why can’t MOFI raise its counterpart funding from the market?
How was the decision arrived at that this is a project to invest federal money into and will such facility be available to other states outside of Lagos?”

I'M SHOCKED.
After living in Japan for over two years, I recently visited the USA with my wife. It made me realize that the USA is dysfunctional in so many ways and has such a low-quality standard across the board.
Here are the things I noticed:
@BashirElRufai I am not a supporter of elrufai, but this is the first time I disagreed with @Danbello. Elrufai had done well when it comes to infrastructure in KD.
