Is #webGPU and physically accurate lighting in #threejs production ready?

We set to find out with @dswhyy developing a Light Studio as a prototype.

IES Spotlights provide physically accurate lighting at 60 FPS in the browser.

Safe to say it was a success!

@pieldelibelula @AnaitGames Lamentablemente, la ausencia de evidencia parece indicar que, efectivamente, o no existen, o no existe interés. En cualquier caso, esa falta de financiación por miedo de A o B supongo que añade más obstáculos a que se haga nada

@pieldelibelula @AnaitGames Y durante gran parte del desarrollo he pensado en lo interesante que sería tener proyectos así en España. Al ser un proyecto financiado por ONGs gubernamentales, la gran pregunta sería si existen esos grupos que podrían financiar algo así en nuestro país.
