@MANCHESTERMUS10 Bought the record about 2 years or so after release. A mate bought it a few months earlier. His version had Terence Stamp on the front. Mine didn’t. I was jealous.
@MANCHESTERMUS10 Performance on The Tube on the Friday night
Video taped it (those were the days)
Watched it until I knew the words backwards

@SportsmithHQ@lukerstorey Best performance coaches I’ve worked with are bright…articulate…and care about their athletes. Never heard them scream at anyone.
@Paulmcg8 Absolutely
Think I come from the same place. As time goes and I’m more aware of the different ways to understand behaviour, the better I can help players other coaches and (selfishly) my own coaching practice.
Keep sharing 👍
@Paulmcg8 …some may even use that as a means of manipulating the space and influencing how the opponent defends. Creating opportunity that is then exploited by the ‘big brains’ (key decision makers)
Some even use ‘go wide’ as a means to go forward.
@Paulmcg8 Great thread Paul and I like the work of Shuttleworth and Duarte.
I guess it depends. (Boring coaching term! Ha!)
Depends on space afforded by the opponent which could influence the decision. Some teams are pre programmed to ‘chase the space’…..tbc😉
“A common mistake among those who work in sport is spending a disproportional amount of time on “x’s and o’s” as compared to time spent learning about people.”
