@drjasonfung I support intermittent fasting because I do it, but most people are awful at reporting how much food they consume. They underestimate portion sizes, forget foods, or simply lie.
@bougieprin40811@PicturesFoIder Why? He wasn't mean. If anything he asked a valid question because while unlikely, she may have been recording him for some reason.
@sam_d_1995 I think anyone who thinks a president can lower prices is naive, but maybe try...
1. Not ordering the most expensive burrito possible
2. Not wasting money by door-dashing
3. Not ordering a specialty, imported drink
@AlexHormozi In a similar vein, I know people saying RFK will make them healthy. He may make some good changes, but he isn't going to stop them from Door Dashing McDonalds every day or being too unmotivated to leave the house to work out. It's just another way to expect others to save you
What are some nootropic supplements that you can feel impacting your mind? For me, it's valerian root and huperzine A.
Valerian almost always gives me vivid dreams I can clearly recall. Huperzine can have the same effect, and during the day it definitely makes my memory sharper
@jamesdickey@pointsandpims@SMB_Attorney Until Congress deals with the stupid federal laws related to marijuana, I'll take a president using his powers to pardon anyone who has been impacted by them. Hopefully Trump would do the same.
@robkhenderson Unfortunately, social media selects for people who are frustrated with a topic, which means the people offering advice are often not people who are successful at what they do, but people who have the motivation and free time to discuss the topic endlessly
@cpompa@ofthemisery Sure, some TikTok content is mindless, but no more mindless than the content most Boomers consume on Facebook, or Gen X does on here. Ragebait, fake nonsense, engaging AI content as if it's real, arguing all day instead of actually providing real value in life, etc.
Someone here asked what our grandfathers would think of Chinese app TikTok intentionally dumbing down our youth. A lot of grandfathers are too busy on Facebook commenting "Jesus loves you" to fake AI photos like this to worry about our youth getting dumber lol
@SMB_Attorney@jmarteen A lot of people's grandfathers are too busy on Facebook commenting "Amen" and "I appreciate you" to obviously and absurdly fake AI photos to worry too much about their grandkids getting dumber.
@ChrisAlvino I honestly stopped trying to help men in the area of dating. Too many men are stubbornly entitled. They will curse the darkness for hours a day but never light one candle, and even get angry at you if you try to help them find a candle and a lighter
@signulll I say let all dating apps collapse on themselves. They aren't designed to make connections, and they alienate men and women both through how their algorithms work.
