@mcbyrne Crazy that certain people don't seem to understand that border security and comprehensive immigration reform are not mutually exclusive.

An easy path to citizenship, if done right, works on both fronts.

@Calebej37 I like the point of the original and agree with your take. Instead of Reconstruction 2.0, developing tech centers in the south would be very helpful for the states themselves and the country. Would likely result in a leftward shift, but not to the point of flipping elections.

I've been working on a list of things I'd like my representatives to campaign on:

• Free, assisted tax filing
• Reduced DMV wait times, cheaper registration
• Reduced sentencing for victimless crimes
• Make government websites more user friendly

What am I leaving out?
