Why sell electricity back to the grid, if home owners can sell distributed compute capacity back to the grid?
1. Combine Powerwall with standardized units of SPARK compute to provide local compute to family / homeowners.
2. Water heaters design should see a wave of innovation. HVACs as well.
3. The question becomes what’s higher ROI for home owners $30k in batteries from solar or $30k in compute capacity with dynamic distribution between home and grid.
4. Can’t compete with solar compute costs due to cooling losses, but provides self-resiliency via open-source models for 99% percent of the tasks.

The amount of sacrifice that goes into making these feats possible are the stories never told by the families of those who push the frontier against the odds.

In October 2024 I bet my hair with production, infrastructure and software teams that if we don’t do first driverless ride through the tunnel by Dec 31 2024 my hair would be gone… Over the last two days of the year it was an honor to receive a short message keeping my hair safe.
