@MrJamesMay why do you say reticence instead of reluctance. As they donβt mean the same thing. They are starting to say reticence on the BBC when clearly they mean reluctance. https://t.co/HLfmq1kwti

π¨ The UK Ministry of Defence just confirmed the drone that hit their base in Cyprus was not launched from Iran.
Not Iran.
So who launched it?
A British base in Cyprus. A Saudi oil refinery. Turkey. Israel present in all three incidents.
Someone is attacking Western and Gulf targets and making it look like Iran β to drag more countries into this war.
This is a false flag operation unfolding in real time.
@mattdeitke congratulations on your new job. I have dyscalculia which is a neurodevelopmental difference, in that my brain canβt do simple arithmetic. I just hope you realise how lucky you are to have skills I can only dream of.
@DPDCare Dreadful driving by DPD Van registration G4 VTC. Tailgating by about 3 miles. Darting in and out of traffic. Not a good advert for your company. Happened today at 14:40ish.
Thank you @ThreeUK for fixing the issue as soon as you can. I wondered if the company could offer a free month to compensate those of us who have been affected. Iβve been with 3 for over 15 years. It would be a small token rather than expensive compensation claims.
@snowflakestar_d @mark395625@ASLEFunion Yeah we are in Newcastle bud. Β£15 an hour is considered a good wage here. Iβm not a geordie though. Born in the midlands. Often when they have gone on strike, the bus company has just pulled buses from other depots while the strike goes on. The corporation has the cards.
@mark395625 @snowflakestar_d @ASLEFunion Indeed. Who is the answer though. Jeremy Corbyn? The parties have been cartelised. Could Reform do any better? Who knows. Some of my colleagues arenβt even in the Union and theyβre seemingly proud not be. Itβs really tough.
@snowflakestar_d @mark395625@ASLEFunion Well thank you bud. Iβm sorry. I do know the training is hard. Iβm scared of doing it to be honest. Psychometric tests. The Metro drivers were paid the same as bus drivers once but ASLEF changed that. Train drivers can bring the country to a standstill but bus drivers canβt.
@mark395625 @snowflakestar_d @ASLEFunion Well yeah, but as Maggie removed the powers of unions years ago. Thatβs going to be a big fight. Train drivers can bring the country to a standstill as they are on tracks but bus drivers and hotel staff canβt, neither can a lot of other occupations. Corporations have the cards.
@obioneyouknowme @snowflakestar_d @ASLEFunion Mm. I find that hard to be honest. Iβve looked but itβs a closed shop. I donβt want to offend train drivers. I just hope they realise how lucky they are. There will be stress they deal with that I donβt know about. We have randomness. Traffic, pedestrians and customers.
@mark395625 @snowflakestar_d @ASLEFunion I think what we need to focus our attention on here is the fact that good honest pay is hard to find. Rather than having a go at each other. Iβm personally sorry if Iβve offended the train drivers here. They are an easy target. I suppose I hope they realise how lucky they are.
@lateturn@jjbiggsy @snowflakestar_d @KymriskaDraken@ASLEFunion Thatβs not entirely the full story bud. If we go on strike, the management pull buses from other depots to do the service. Itβs almost like, βyou go on strike, knock yourselves out, weβll carry on and deal with you laterβ. So we donβt have the same leverage like yourselves.
