🚨 ATTN: Cobb County, Georgia, voters:
The Georgia Supreme Court has denied relief for Cobb County voters who requested absentee ballots on time but did not receive them on time because the county failed to mail them promptly.
Cobb County voters affected by the County’s late mailing of absentee ballots must now vote in person or get their ballots to the Cobb County Elections office by 7 p.m. on Nov. 5. The office is at 995 Roswell St. NE, Marietta, GA 30060.

Have received several notes from people who have swing state Republican dads/aunts/friends who dislike Trump and have gotten pushed over the line by this piece.
Give it your best shot!

the last time chiefs fans saw our team lose a game we suffered a collective psychotic break. a lot of us just stayed indoors the whole day, baked an entire ham, stuffed candy into these big stupid socks, stared at weird trees we’d dragged inside. really bad time for all of us
When early voting in New York begins on October 26, voters in New York City will have the opportunity to decide on six ballot measures.

This is what things looks like at 1.5 degrees of warming. Think about what it looks like at twice that, which is where we’re headed unless we do a *lot* more very quickly.
A seasonal program was a poison pill and the Council got what they wanted: a gutted program where neighborhoods that had outdoor dining for the first time during the pandemic have now lost it.
It’s time to fix this major mistake and create a year-round program.
From a pandemic high of close to 13,000 outdoor dining areas in the road, the city's new program will shrink to just 1,315 restaurants applying to put tables in the street. https://t.co/71Hc4IqVqI
SO BASICALLY PUBLIC LIBRARIES ARE JUST 0.4% OF THE NEW YORK CITY BUDGET, BUT THE MAYOR IS TRYING TO CUT THE LIBRARY'S BUDGET WAY BACK. I’M TALKING $58.3 MILLION! LIBRARIES ARE ALREADY CLOSED ON SUNDAYS BECAUSE OF PREVIOUS CUTS AND MOST BRANCHES WILL BE OPEN FOR JUST FIVE DAYS A WEEK IF THESE CUTS GO THROUGH!! WE ONLY HAVE UNTIL THE END OF JUNE TO TELL @NYCMAYOR #NOCUTSTOLIBRARIES AND SAVE THE LIBRARY.
When I stop to think on the last 8 days, I marvel how the MTA went from the precipice of the most sound financial footing it's ever been in during our lifetimes to an abyss of uncertainty that could last years now. The height of political irresponsibility from the governor.
