I know you try to virtue signal your "cypherpunk" status by mentioning past history.

.. but it does not matter as you burnt your reputation.
I've been doing the same thing in the early 2000's when things like Kazaa, Bittorrent etc.. were at their peak.

One thing I remembered clearly is that I only put available TRUSTED files and hosted files which actually worked. Linkin Park and Evanescence songs, some games I could not afford,...

All of them were kept up with me as a peer (node) in the network that was trusted. Only because I did not host malicious software that could harm others in the network.

Taking this to Bitcoin, my node can be trusted because I set my policy settings for maximal monetary use (and no additional arbitrary data relay).

I updated to a KNOTS+BIP110 version for that same reason.
Monetary maxi use. I am not scared to go p2p. I only prioritize network health and not relay trash data which never should have had a place on Bitcoin to begin with.
You, and other Core supporters, only want to see increasing network activity no matter what it is. I want to see use as intended:
As a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.
