It's staggering and incomprehensible how or why the ANC's former KwaZulu-Natal Premier who was also the party's chairperson in the province before becoming Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure from March 2023 to June 2024; Sihle Zikalala - who has a BA in Communication Science and a Masters in Commerce - was appointed, in fact demoted, to deputy minister under Dean MacPherson; a Matriculant deployed to the 'GNU' by the white-led DA, who is the new Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure.

Was Zikalala's demotion from minister to deputy minister, in the same portfolio, an ugly and humiliating expression of patronage to enable him to pay his bills; or was it a strategic deployment worth the humiliation?

His miserable and painful look on the picture, with his boss, suggests the former!
