(1/n) For years, I have avoided investing in Saregama due to its history of poor capital allocation decisions. Unfortunately, the company continues down this path with its recent equity investment in Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) Films.
Long time no see?
Markets back at all-time highs, broader portfolios still struggle and I am officially done hibernating!
While the ongoing correction is crushing small and midcaps, the best opportunities are hiding in plain sight (read as re-rating candidates 😉). I`ve being hunting for long and found something special, an undervalued special situation Mr. Market hasn`t woken up to yet.
This is hardly anything, promoter pledged most of the stock and that fund would have been already diverted through forex outside the country, banks would be left holding the bag
As a public market investor, it isn`t possible to conduct DD, but high pledge, RPT etc., can be used as filters to avoid such investments
Due diligence remains a linchpin in the IPO journey, ensuring IPO-Bound companies withstand the glare of public markets.
As I dig through a decade-old valuation report today for a client or uncovering milestones through fragile old pages, I’m Happy-My kind of treasure hunt!
What was the most demanding piece for your IPO Journey?
From Swasth Foodtech to Nukleus Office Solutions, today’s IPO openings show India’s diversity in action. Guiding firms to the public market is about more than speed—it’s about trust and vision and transparency.
What's one thing that you think is fundamental for the IPO process?
@Paryan_Sharma Absolutely, AI can speed up the drafting of DRHPs, but the real challenge lies in getting the company to compile and provide the data needed for the IPO(Compliance, history, business, industry) - That process is often time-draining and overwhelming for many organizations.
If the main road is dug up (yet again) the best way to harass citizens is to dig the alternate road up as well!
Our authorities have mastered this art.
Here’s my visual protest for this digging!
Thank you @RoadsOfMumbai for printing my pain on this teeshirt!
@mybmc
@airtelindia Experiencing the worst customer service ever. Trying for more than a week to shift my number from corporate to individual - so much for going digital but this entire process is off line. Secondly the customer care is clueless about the process.
