The conductor of the red line train just got on the mic to thank us all for riding CTA and to wish us well. The confusion in this car is palpable. At least 3 people went on live when it started.
I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Shoutout to @BeachTooSandy for the great evening in the Windy City and to Den Theater for the great drinks and service! I'd rate them 6 stars if I could
Rip to any non chicagoans who came out of a youtuber comedy show @kurtisconner to a full on impromptu parade on state street happy latine heritage month lmao
● I'm better at my job cuz I spend less time second guessing and more time DOING
● I can take public transportation/airplanes
Being medicated isn't perfect or for everyone, and it's been a LONG journey to get here, but I've seen such an improvement! End mental health stigma!
Actually in line with my last tweet here are some things that have changed since I've been medicated:
● I'm a better player (more willing to try)
● I'm a better driver
● I'm a better advocate for myself and others
● I get more sleep/have less nightmares
just got on the bus and thought "shoot forgot my book. shoot also forgot my headphones" and didn't immediately panic yall I think my meds are WORKINGGGGG
@cta has every single number 6 bus been raptured or are the memorial day tourists more important than the people who are trying to get to work? #trappedinhydepark#sendhelp#itsbeenanhour
today I told my therapist that I think my ideal form is a lab rat to which she responded "greer... I don't even have a therapist response for that... just no"
so yeah therapy is going well thanks for asking
whenever i see transphobes up in arms about pronouns or gendered language or w/e I'm like... damn I'm sorry your parents didn't hug you enough but like that is NOT my problem I'm going to continue demanding respect for myself and my community ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ go to therapy about it
"rEsPeCt Is EaRnEd" I earned ur moms respect last night haha GOTTEM (bc I was a polite and courteous individual I'll remind you all I may be trans but I'm still very ace)
The best thing I ever did for my mental health was join a community band. There's something so amazing about leaving work to create art with other queer people. It's a testament to our resilience as a community, our strength, our beauty!
Oh yeah and like going to therapy or w/e
