Our kids appear in many of these Ayala photos, and because it's part of my advocacy, I am ok with it. But many, many parents really do not want their kids photographed at all. Understandably. We really should ask before we shoot! Even more if we post it on SC

I don't personally mind being photographed while I'm on a bike. The focus isn't on my body at all - what people see first would be the pretty cool things I get my bikes to do.
If I were younger, maybe riding alone, these bike photographer dudes would make me pretty uncomfortable

I get so sick of men sometimes. So offended when a woman doesn't conform to their idea of attractiveness. So entitled to comment on, commodify and consume images of women just existing. Yeah yeah not all men etc etc. But always men who look like this.

Since road safety is a hot topic rn, when is Makati going to paint back the crossings on all the recently asphalted roads? It's been months now! vehicles just wait on the crossing area and make it more difficult and dangerous for peds

My 7- year old likes to do NYT Strands with me. The other day, she borrowed my phone, navigated to strands and handed it back to me 10 min later, completely solved.

Please either make it clear that right turns on red are only permitted when the lane is clear, or have right turns from the first general lane OR ban right turns altogether before someone gets hurt on these.

@ExploreBGC These kinds of right turn lanes put cyclists in danger in your development. When we're going straight on the bike lane, motorists will enter into the bollards behind us to turn right then honk and bully cyclists into letting them turn on red.

My husband's nephew is marrying his college girlfriend. Just like his father did, and his grandfather, and, come to think of it, my husband. Either the men in this family are rocks of dependable reliability, or they've got us all under some spell...

@goodkidbikecity The worst, most carcentric enclaves (ex. MOA, McKinley hill) suck so bad to get to by car and by public transport that a bike ends up the least painful way to get there 🤷‍♀️

Walking by Salcedo Market this morning we saw three whole groups in summery colors with flower bouquets taking selfies and road crossing videos.

@Alypaap Exactly! And there's a variety of good options and prices, not like at some beaches where you're stuck eating at your resort every day, like it or not.

Our other favorite car free destination is Taipei. It also ends up much cheaper and more convenient than many local trips

@Alypaap Me too! Being able to get there and get around there without a car is a huge draw, and there are shockingly few beaches here where you can do that

@mignac_ Mine's the 32oz, the kids got 16oz, and everyone with cars got 24oz so it fits in the cupholder
