As a writer it’s funny to me that (and I’m sure I’m not alone in this) I can smell the ai slop in so much of online prose. Some of it’s pretty obvious- looking at you, excess use of dashes and one word question and answers.

Translation? Everything online reads the same. Lmfao

I don’t have an easy answer. I just see individuality getting sacrificed at the alter of “scale” and “optimization” and I think it’s making the world more gray. I’m surrounded by talks of ai and these conversations day-to-day at work, and it’s something I think about a lot.
