Goodbye you bloody wonderful woman, mother, wive and friend.
Plenty of spirit, but dedication, persistence and pride in what you've given everyone that's met you.
You went too young and we are saddened, but be assured we will succeed, the same way you did for 50 years, RIP.
For the Women's 2nd Grade game, a 21-run win to Glenorchy scoring 103/6 v New Town 82/7 off 20 overs.
Positive was a 57-run 6th wicket stand between Ella Willmott and Addison Heenan.
And improved signs with the bat as well from years past (4/4)
A double header that started at Soldiers Memorial for 3rd Grade and finished at Shoobridge Park for Women's 2s. Two more games into the book today for the @CricketNotchers to go through.
First photos of Soldiers here (1/4)
As for results, unfortunately both losses. North Hobart 3rd Grade an easy winner in a 40 over game scoring 220/6 with Chris Barker getting 113. In reply, all out 108. (3/4)
Unfortunately, beaten by 30 runs on DLS. Too much of a slump in the first third of the batting innings was costly in the end.
Onto next week, quieter day today so a home day doing bits and pieces (2/2)
Game 1 saw a 14 run win to New Town off the back of a brilliant century from Scottish International Kathryn Bryce.
Game 2 was a tougher affair, Kingborough a comfortable 7 wicket winner.

Opening weekend done and dusted yesterday with two Women's T20s at Twin Ovals against Kingborough.
A bit of a mixed bag results wise but take the shared outcome @CricketNotchers (1/2)
Over the course of the off season, we lost a mentor and friend to many in the scoring ranks being Graeme Hamley. Knowing GH for 20+ years and the games done together, great memories.
Scored the day. Talked about it after. The way he used to do. Thank you GH. (2/2)
A day that meant a lot more than the outcome itself, the outcome was a close 9 run win after Clarence struggled early at 26/4. But yesterday was a lot more than that @CricketNotchers (1/2)
And we go again. Statewide season number 28 for yours truly. Away at Clarence to start.
The young Duck and the older Duck. Awake at 6am for the first coffee of no doubt many.
The routines haven't changed, much.
Here's to it @CricketNotchers
All in all, optimism is high for what will be a very strong season ahead. Here's to it and hopefully some premiership success this year.
First game of the year at Kangaroo Bay next Saturday. (2/2)
Well, another season approaches. One week to go before we restart again.
Statewide season 28 for me and 4th season at New Town.
A 14th straight season in the State Box.
And done almost all the club scoring appointments for the season bar a handful.

@shannon_wells For mine, think it's cause Labor only have two members on the floor of Leg Co they would need another member on the floor to ensure things operate effectively if they had the Treasury benches. Even still, 10 in lower chamber, no Greens and almost all XBench? Difficult on numbers.
Target acquired. In Football terms, a goal to win as the siren was blaring in the background.
100 inbound calls today. Might be time to have a well earnt one.
🦆🥳
Full time. A comfortable second half for the Bulldogs, running out 35 point winners.
Competitive up until midway through Q3 but visitors took charge and showed why they are top of the table.
A very solid away win.
Can now add WAFL to the trip. At Mandurah for the WAFL between Peel and South Fremantle. Seniors just starting, Reserves an easy 5 goal win to the visitors.
Hopefully a good contest here.
Also, when you exit Gloucester Park, you do see the field of when they held the Inter Dominon Final back in 1936 and 2012 along with the results of both. Capped the night off perfectly for mine.

Another item ticked off the list tonight is the Gloucester Park Harness on Friday nights. A real staple when Cricket at the WACA and Harness at Gloucester were side by side.
A wet night, but good food and some good photos. Oh and tried the local brew too. Not too bad (1/2)
