Every lifelong Catholic I've ever met is like "I think we're supposed to give this food to poor people" and every adult convert is like "the Archon of Constantinople's epistle on the Pentacostine rites of the eucharist clearly states women shouldn't have driver's licenses."
@stoolpresidente I'd like to invite you to a class of mine this fall. I've been an educator for 14 years. Prior to that I was in the army. I left the army and put myself through school while simultaneously battled PTSD. Would you like a closer view into my world? @stoolpresidente@barstoolsports
Should we expect any posts from you, @RealCandaceO , condemning the Kremlin’s attack on Christianity — or do you only talk about God when you’re paid to?
The Lavra has been attacked twice — and both times by Russians.
The previous time it was damaged was during World War II, on November 3, 1941. The cathedral was mined and blown up by retreating Soviet NKVD saboteurs after German forces occupied the city.
And today — on Sunday (the Lord’s Day), June 14, 2026 — it was struck again by direct Russian missile attacks.
The Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves) is 975 years old. It is one of the oldest and most sacred monastic complexes in Eastern Europe, with its history officially dating back to 1051 AD during the era of Kyivan Rus’.
Trump on Platner: "Eric [Schmitt] will handle him I think. Who the hell do we have? Now, Rand would be very interesting with him. Rand would figure it out. He would put him away."
James Carville backs Graham Platner: “We’ve got a fucked up guy who could be 100x more fucked up than he is and he’d never be as fucked up as what we’ve got in Washington. This country is about to lose it, the whole goddamn thing. We gotta win this. If we got a person that’s understandably got issues, good. Maybe people oughta see it and maybe we oughta be reminded what these stupid wars have brought about and the consequence of said stupid wars that stupid Susan Collins’ been for all of her political life”
@jmheard15@ClayTravis@WSJ An attorney has nothing to do with it. In order to qualify, you must have an in service event, a diagnosis, and a nexus connecting the two. Attorneys are only needed if you get denied, appeal, and then lose your appeal. VSO's can be used for claims and appeals and they're free.
@jmheard15@ClayTravis@WSJ You do, but if he has 50% for PTSD, he can still function as a productive member of society. And if he has tinnitus that's 10%, 30%, for migraines, 50% for sleep apnea, 10% for numerous other injuries involving shoulders, kneez, ankles and feet, that would all equal to 100%.
