📢VerseQuest is busy - and I praise the Lord for it.

Look at what is happening right now: nearly 1,000,000 impressions, more than 14,000 engagements, 6,500 likes, 1,400 reposts, 3,400 bookmarks, and more than 1,100 shares, with over 266,000 followers and 139,000 active followers.

Those are not just numbers to me. Every impression represents a person who may stop long enough to read a Bible verse. Every bookmark may be someone saving a study for later. Every repost and share puts the Word in front of somebody I may never meet. Every private message represents another person searching for an answer, asking for prayer, trying to understand doctrine, or simply needing encouragement.

This is why I keep writing.

There is an incredible hunger for the Word of God right now, and VerseQuest is trying to meet that hunger with essays, commentaries, charts, workbooks, Essentials Guides, books, sermons, free studies, and daily Bible teaching. There is far more going on behind the scenes than anyone ever sees, and the ministry continues to grow.

But growth also means greater responsibility, greater workload, and greater expense.

So I am asking our VerseQuest family to continue standing with us. Pray for this ministry. Pray for the people reaching out. Pray for wisdom, strength, protection, provision, and the ability to keep producing sound Bible teaching every day.

Share the studies. Repost them. Send them to somebody who needs them. Use the material. Tell others about VerseQuest.

And if the Lord has blessed you through this ministry and you are able to financially support the work through a donation or by purchasing our books and resources, it genuinely helps us continue doing this full-time and expanding what is available.

I never want this ministry to become about numbers. I want it to remain about souls, Scripture, and Jesus Christ.

But these numbers remind me that people are listening.

The field is enormous.

The hunger is real.

And as long as the Lord gives me strength, I intend to keep sowing.

🚨‼️Estrangement is grief without a grave. The person is still alive, the telephone number still exists, and the photographs still sit in the drawer, but the relationship has been pronounced dead without a funeral. If that is where you are today, do not let anybody shame you for hurting. David wept over Absalom, and the Lord is still “nigh unto them that are of a broken heart” (Psalm 34:18). Tears are not unbelief. But remember this: sorrow may sit in the chamber for a season; it must not be crowned king of the house.

Search your own heart before searching their motives. Confess what is actually yours, repair what can still be repaired, and stop defending conduct that God has already condemned. But do not confess imaginary crimes merely to purchase contact. Humility bows before truth; it does not crawl beneath a lie. Make your apology clean, your boundary truthful, your forgiveness real, and your hands empty of revenge. Romans 12:18 says, “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” God commands your obedience, He does not hold you responsible for controlling another adult’s will.

Leave the porch light on where wisdom permits, but stop pounding on a door that somebody has chosen to keep closed. Repeated pressure is not reconciliation, gifts are not emotional invoices, and grandchildren must never become bargaining chips. Forgiveness releases vengeance; it does not automatically restore trust, access, or every former privilege. You can love somebody from a distance without financing rebellion, surrendering safety, or allowing his rejection to consume every remaining mercy. God never told you to drown because another person burned the bridge.

Then arise and sit in the gate. David carried the scar of Absalom, but 2 Samuel 19:8 says, “Then the king arose, and sat in the gate.” There were living people to serve and duties grief could not be permitted to bury. Love the absent, pray for the estranged, remain ready for truth, but cherish those who stayed and keep doing the work God placed in your hands. Human rejection can lock an earthly door; it cannot cancel your acceptance in Christ. Carry the scar, but do not build your house inside the wound.
