@chybcoffin@krisstennb My SIL had a great hack with her 2 1/2 year old when we were on vacation where she told her she didn’t have to nap, but she needed to still lay down and rest for at least 30 mins. Lil sucker fell asleep 😉 if he doesn’t sleep at least he was chilling and having low stimulation!
I think if I had to pinpoint when my anxiety started, I’d say it was on the bus in elementary school, when the bus driver assigned me the emergency window exit and told me I’d need to open it in case of emergencies. She had no idea she put the weight of the world on my shoulders
And furthermore, what was the bullshit about having the older, stronger kids grab hands with us to help us out the back of the bus? That was so uncomfortable?
I offered help to an older woman who was having trouble reaching something in the grocery store - she turned me down. She did however accept help from an older man (stranger) not 30 seconds later and introduced herself. Tanya you dawg… I respect the hustle.
Had a student working on a reading/writing test this morning (supposed to be quiet obviously) and he suddenly lets out a scream and jumps back from his computer. He had typed the word "boo" lolol
@chybcoffin For her and her team to say NOTHING this whole time has just been very distasteful for me, and I’m really not involved because i can’t afford the tickets to begin with. (Another distasteful thing that is not necessarily HER fault)
