@charlieMonroe As someone who owns Downie and thinks it's a great app, I was sad to see the reddit post... But your apology seems genuine and I'm glad you laid it all out like that. You're an okay dude. Thanks for explaining it!
@FrankenDoc@1Password@TommyWiseau If you've seen The Room at a theatre that gives out plastic spoons along with the viewing guide, it becomes a great movie.
@alexjrassic@kevsmac FreeNAS/TrueNAS is not a nice thing to use with a Pi as ZFS uses a boatload of RAM. I'm running TrueNAS on an older AMD system with 5x8TB drives in there, she runs good!
@alexjrassic@kevsmac My NAS is only connected via gigabit, so I only use it for storage of finished projects... My last project was ~6TB and was spread across 4 external SSDs. Proxy Footage helps a lot though!
@PeakHourApp I was worried when I read "subscription model"... $17AUD/yr is alright. I bought Peakhour 4 in August 2017 for $6 (That's only $1 a year!)
@mimestream I tried contacting you regarding your privacy policy and GDPR but never got a response :(
Due to the Australian Privacy laws, my work has gotten more strict on what applications are allowed to use Google sign in and this includes Mimestream :(
@Frenck I used ESPHome + an RF 422mhz transmitter and a friends Flipper to record the signals to control my blinds - the other suggestions are probably better, I just had the gear on hand for it :P
@mleibner You, my friend, are a legend.
Pretty sure they got in through a leaked password (yeah my bad, everything else uses a randomly generated pass!) - then they installed wpcode and a snippet to attach the code to the footer of every page.
I think I might just move on to a static site.
@Frenck My favourite bug at the moment though is a particular type of 4 button scene switch on deConz will drain the battery in about a week instead of it lasting 6+ months. Hence me reaaaaally thinking about changing this time...
