For everybody who’s new here: yes, @SteveHiltonx called me an idiot at his town hall.
But don’t judge me based on Steve alone!
Here’s what everybody else has said about me:
‘Betrays Public Trust and the Law’ - @sacbee_news
‘Like a Ghost’ -Eric Topol @washingtonpost
Refused to be endorsed for Governor by Joe Biden to @latimes
‘You should know who you’re hiring’ Nancy Pelosi to Joe Biden, prior to HHS Hiring
‘IDIOT’ - Susan Rice (Biden Official) to @axios
‘Isn’t fulfilling a core responsibility of his job’ - The White House to @washingtonpost
‘Out of his depth’ - Senior Biden official to @politico
‘Practically Mute during Crisis’ - @latimes
‘California Should expect better’ - @latimes
I actually remember July 2020, when gas was $2.98 a gallon.
It hurts every time I fill my tank, but I did promise to build high-speed rail on time and on budget. So, in order to keep that promise, I’ll do everything I can to get gas to $10 a gallon.
Somebody has to pay for the train and it’s def going to be YOU 😉
In the time that Gavin Newsom has been Governor of California, gas prices have SPIKED over 85%.
And yet they still believe “vote blue no matter who”.
How DUMB they are.
The energy today is as 🔥. With literally no notice 500 people attended today’s Townhall and one of my favorite policy pieces Steve has announced, no property taxes for veterans. California can be fixed, but it’ll take all of us to push him through the finish line.
As I sit at home in my favorite Saturday Snuggie, eating leftovers from lasagna night with my wife and watching this video of @SteveHiltonx in Lodi, I can’t help but wonder: when was the last time I made a public appearance?
Looks like it’s been 8 days since Californians last saw me in public - and I don’t have any more public appearances confirmed on my calendar.
In the words of Lil Wayne: “Real G’s move in silence like lasagna.”
The energy in Lodi today was incredible.
Everywhere we go, the crowds keep getting bigger because Californians are sick and tired of the waste, fraud, corruption, and lies coming out of Sacramento.
People don’t want a governor like Xavier Becerra who puts his donors’ interests ahead of the interests of the people.
The momentum is growing. The energy is getting stronger.
Enough is enough. We’re taking our state back together.
@Janet89285408@latimes It’s not a lie! More housing does = more affordable housing because we’re using your tax dollars to build more housing for homeless people 😉
My answer to all our problems in California is always build more housing.
Doesn’t make sense until @latimes drops an article exposing California Association of Realtors as my top donor ($3M)
🚨 LA Times EXPOSES Becerra as a puppet of Big Business:
“Powerful corporations and interest groups with business in Sacramento are among the donors that have poured nearly $50 million boosting his bid for governor."
Call them donations, but this is legalized BRIBERY!
@DummyXavierB@latimes $225,000 stolen by the chief of staff, millions in corporate cash backing the bid, and the headline plan is free laundry? California voters deserve receipts—not a Sacramento campaign photo op.
Is it weird that I’m running for Governor even though my chief of staff pleaded guilty last month in federal court to stealing $225,000 in campaign funds?
Is it desperate to post this the same day the @latimes dropped an article exposing the millions in corporate money backing me - and the influence those donors expect?
Is it unserious that I run from press and have only presented one plan for free laundry from 1-3pm?
Weird. Desperate. Unserious.
@AGRothenpieler@XavierBecerra No not at all. According to my @ouraring I sleep like a baby! The only recent spike I’ve had was when my former chief of staff Sean McCluskie pleaded guilty in federal court last month for stealing campaign funds - with my authorization (but I lied and said I didn’t know).
🚨 BREAKING: Xavier Becerra confirms he will KEEP the DMV, keep vehicle registration the highest in the country. Thanks for supporting my campaign @XavierBecerra! I guess he really is @DummyXavierB
My plan: Abolish the DMV, $73 vehicle registration
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! ✊
No - because then I’d have to explain the $4.8B in no-bid contracts to contractors with zero kids experience.
That’s how 300,000+ got trafficked so easily.
Horrible fiscal decisions. Kids’ safety disregarded. No wonder Joe Biden told the @latimes he refuses to endorse me for Governor
@BuddyGreen60085@SteveHiltonx@latimes The politically correct term is dummy 😊 I also can be called a puppet since the dems gotta put their hand up my behind to make me talk
Unfortunately for me, he actually has a great plan to cut costs across the board by reducing wasteful spending in Sacramento. We pay 250,000 bureaucrats (including people like Nancy Skinner, who banned your tires) six-figure salaries to make Californians’ lives more difficult.
He’s going to reduce the wasteful headcount. He’s also going to cancel high-speed rail to nowhere and funding fraudulent NGOs. That’s billions right there.
He’s really thought all of this through. All of his plans are thoroughly broken down on his website. I’ve read them all. I have one plan for free laundry from 1-3 but I’m working on more now I just need some more time!
