@J00NM3TAL It’s like the kpop mindset on steroids due to the fixed couple shit they got going on in Thailand. Parasocialism and control to a degree I haven’t seen before, maybe only rivaled by antis to bts on here
I will never forget S3 trying to pass off Lestat getting shot as some traumatic experience for him, meanwhile in S1 those bullets literally bounced off newborn baby vampire Louis like 😂
TVL just didn't make any sense.
just when I think i've found one iwtv fan that's not insufferable it turns out they hate on my one other hyperfixation 🙄 i'm about to curate my timeline so I see nothing about the show at this point these ppl are psychotic
@Missicecream0@silverbondage i am asking this in genuinely good faith but how can you be so affected by a scene in hindsight after watching the trial in season 2 and seeing that the "fight" we see downstairs in 1x5 was not accurate. the drop is of course unforgivable but I'm speaking of the fight in general
@browneyedldpdl@witchesflight i'm not trying to beat a dead horse but this is even explicitly stated in the dialogue when daniel calls out louis for not burning lestat. he says "you chose lestat over her time and time again" that is what you're supposed to take away from him not incinerating him
@slasherscott sometimes tempted to write a paper about how every fandom space now operates like a kpop echo chamber. it really feels like the death of true fandom but I'm trying not to doom and gloom
@flolikestat Also thanks for even discussing this with me I feel like a lot of people on here are reactionary but I love talking about these characters even if I’m way off base. It’s fun 🙂↕️
@flolikestat I think she wanted Louis to come with her and she knew Louis would not leave lestat unless he was dead. Again I could be totally wrong about this analysis but I see Claudia as a very calculating person, way smarter than her parents
@Daniell36123247@flolikestat You can definitely correct me if I’m wrong but we don’t have like actual proof that she wrote the train scene in her diary. What if she told Louis that telepathically/verbally? I don’t want it to seem like I’m advocating for her to be lying I just don’t think it’s so far out of
@flolikestat I see where you’re coming from. I don’t entirely agree bc I feel like someone as smart as Claudia and as desperate as she was at that point could convince Louis that Lestat did all that to go forward with her plan. It may be a total reach but it’s interesting to think about
@flolikestat Thats up to your interpretation I was just pointing out an instance that should make the viewer continue to question where the truth lies. All characters have the capacity to lie. If she did lie about aspects of her abuse it’s not like it invalidates the abuse she did suffer
@Jonspace you're right but Lestat didn't actually want to open the relationship. his dumb ass wanted Louis to be jealous, get a reaction out of him, become physically close to him again and feel validated that louis loves him. Like most of his plans, it backfires because he's an idiot
@hyyh_m19@tksovers@97SBODYART I think there are ten wings and each wing has a spicier hot sauce on it and while Sean (the interviewer) ask questions they see how far the guest can go before they tap out. It’s always a fun time
