@mrdanwalker I heard Mo Farah interviewed on this, he said that the manufacturers 'unlock' higher speeds on treadmills for elite runners. The normal limits are dictated by safety, rather than the machines capability.
@ThePinchNews For me this highlights an issue with tactics. We always start with really high intensity and pressing hard out of possession. What we don't then do is have periods of controlled possession to recover, as a consequence we start to struggle in the last 30 with no energy or control
@TheGoldPony21@autocar They've always been called 'Estates' in the UK. Dates back to when such shaped vehicles were used for moving people and things around and between large homes or estates. Vehicles historically being the preserve of the upper class.
@isaacsimpsonn@shawberryfields@bamgboyeolu Why don't those fans turn up the rest of the time then? Our Wembley numbers are broadly in line with home attendance. Why do Wednesday have so many fans who only bother with the big events?
@veggiekrays@asyouwereS6 Hopefully there won't be any derbies next season. As poor as out start has been I'm optimistic we have the quality to get out of, and pull away from the bottom three. It'd take a miracle for Wednesday to stay up.
@Berkshireblade@asyouwereS6@veggiekrays Let's be honest, that starting 11 is awful, their squad is ridiculously poor. Probably the worst the championship has ever seen.
Will always enjoy beating Wednesday though, however shite they currently are.
@R0CKINTHEST0RM@wa_oww@TouchlineX I imagine when you do a really good piece of work you also don't run round the office arms aloft and then have a pile on with your team. Safe to say there's a bit more passion in football.
@FootballLeagueW Looks great. Especially if we get more stadiums like this we need to go back to FA cup semis at a neutral venue! Way better than two trips to Wembley (I'd imagine, Sheffield United never win the semi)
@SouthStandPies I'd imagine it's because of Warnock, Wilder and the general preference for more aggressive players. In my experience Wednesday are more popular amongst fans aged 50+. I'd argue it's different locally
@sufcdan12 Surely I can't be the only one who's absolutely dreading it . There's no bragging rights in beating Wednesday in the situation they're in. But if we don't beat them, which feels a very real possibility at the moment, we'll never hear the end of it. Plus we need the points.
@sniffpetrol Absolute legend of the motoring world. To this day every time I see or hear a mention of a BMW E36 I have to say 'avoid the 316i, they're slower than George Bush' in Quentin's accent.
@thejodiefry@SkylarSkye14@KingthatisCool Of all teams Blackpool is surely one that would have a good chance. They've played in: prem, championship, league 1 and league 2 in the last 15 years or so.
@rockthekasbah88 Unlike Martin he isn't stubbornly stuck to one style of play. Anyone could've told you Martin's big flaw is he will only play heavily possession based football and will never adapt from it.
@rockthekasbah88 As a Sheffield United fan, if anything I should be anti Rohl. But I've got to give him credit, he did an excellent job. One of the weakest squads in the league, a low wage budget and mental owner. Yet managed to keep them up after one of their worst starts to a season in history
