@EmilySm43 Obviously, I'd only have to wait a few seconds for them to go through and they would have to wait several minutes for me. Net positive. No brainer.
Our sons get 1 hour of play time with a screen per day on the weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) and only regular TV during the week, but we put enough toys and books in their hands to the point that TV isn't their sole source of entertainment. It also helps a lot to try to spend your free time with them. If I'm home and not activelly busy with some task from work, you will find me chasing (or being chased by) my kids or reading with them.
