It’s kind of annoying how cranks have made this word just mean “loony paranoia” because September 11 was definitely a conspiracy. A group of people planned and carried out a bunch of crimes, that’s like the core case of a conspiracy
"There was no conspiracy related to the September 11 attacks. Those who seriously entertain conspiracy theories in the comments will be blocked."
King.
Police with guns are obviously a much, much bigger threat to liberty than cameras that observe only public thoroughfares, and cover less than half a percent of American roadways at that.
Cops kill 1,000+ people per year. Even if they don't kill you, they can arrest you, jail you, and take your stuff.
Personally, I think we do a good job mitigating the risks posed by these facts. But the idea that ALPRs are a greater threat to liberty than the actual armed agents of the state is very obvious cope from the guy who just doesn't want to admit that his position should make him pro-Defund.
@stanfordNYC@billybinion It’s not begging the question because he’s pointing out that even of those who had status, it was taken away (he’d argue, and I’d agree) capriciously. That argument doesn’t assume a right to immigrate but it does address the “right way” claim he was responding to
Not only is it not the law that someone on trial “probably did it,” the law is the exact opposite. The jury is specifically instructed in every trial that the defendant is presumed innocent
‘WILDMAN’ is in the works, a new action thriller described as ‘John Wick’ meets Bigfoot.
The film follows Bigfoot who goes on a quest to retrieve the body of his younger brother while killing everyone responsible along the way.

@brent858@Reggae_Mallard Those are bad laws but they don’t do what you say. They prohibit the government from contracting with businesses that discriminate against Israeli companies. It’s the same as laws prohibiting the government from working with people who discriminate based on race
I know a lot of people are mistaken about some basic stuff about Flock, but this kind of response boils down to “No, those are the other mass surveillance cameras.”
