So, to fix the error they use the emergency alert system again for a non-emergency. This is ridiculous. Stop using it for non-emergency purposes.

Why is an emergency alert sent out when there is no emergency??? No need to alert people if there is nothing to worry about. It needs to be reported, but that is what the news is for.
